Testing

Usability testing is the foundation of all good user interface solutions. Ideally, the analysis-design-testing cycle should be tightly coupled and flexible enough so that all usability issues are discovered before Development begins coding the first user-facing screen. By employing usability tools such as simple interactive prototypes, user personas, field testing, and user questionnaires, 90% of the issues that plague poor user experiences can be solved prior to the start of (expensive) development.
